Zo Blog

You have probably seen him on You Tube.  He was a finalist in Newt’s “Drill Here Drill Now Pay Less” video contest.  Now, he has a blog.  He’s trying to connect African-Americans with what the Conservative movement and Republicans are really about, and he does a pretty good job.  You go, Zo!

Ad: “Sarah’s a fighter”

I saw this ad for the first time on FNC today:

Thank you, Our Country Deserves Better PAC.  Right now, they are travelling the country with their “The Stop Obama Tour.”  Check them out if they come near you.

“Temporarily alive”

I heard this on the Laura Ingraham show this afternoon.  The words are haunting, and I had never heard them before.  Obama called babies that survived abortion “temporarily alive.”  Read the chilling transcript here.  He was the ONLY SENATOR to speak against this bill introduced by Patrick O’Malley in 2001 in the Illinois State Senate.  You can read more about this subject at Born Alive Truth.

Why Obama rejected public financing (Updated)

This has been burning up the blogosphere for the past couple of days.  Turns out Obama has turned off address verification on his donation system.  That, coupled with the all of the illegitimate names that have been found and the foreign donations, I would say he’s stealing the campaign.  It’s been reported that about half of his $600M dollars have been of the less-than-$200-not-required-to-be-reported kind.

You think that, during the primaries, he realized he could get away with this garbage and THAT’S why he decided to forego public financing?

Update:  It looks like Obama’s campaign has been reading the blogs and has fixed the hole.  Also, the RNC has updated their FEC complaint filed earlier in the month.  Follow the first link in this post for the details.

Update II: One reader at National Review Online wonders how much Obama makes on the “float,” since the campaign insists that they go through the offerings AFTER they are made to refund any fraudulent donations.

Update III: Looks like the epidemic is hitting home.  Rick Noriega, who is challenging John Cornyn for his Senate seat in Texas, has a website that also accepts fraudulent donations, while Cornyn’s site does not.

Obama’s “Chicago Mob” Tactics

Question Dear Leader, and you will be destroyed — that’s the Obama way.

Dems think the Patriot Act was a loss of rights and an affront to the Constitution, but look at what Obama has perpetrated:

  • Got MO lawyers to warn that any ads would be investigated if not true
  • Asked the DOJ to investigate donors to an ad about Ayers
  • Sabotaged radio interviews of anti-Obama book authors (see link above)
  • Sent warning letters to Republican donors for what their money was funding (see link above)
  • Sent his other friends, the media, to destroy anyone who questions him, ie Joe the Plumber
  • Asked for an investigation into McCain/DOJ collusion on ACORN
  • His supporters have threatened to bring back fairness doctrine to squash any opposition

Is this how you want to live?

Obama + Pelosi + Reid = CHANGE (Updated)

And NOT the good kind.  Here’s what we already know we are going to get:

If all of these things are enacted in the first two years before America gets its heads out of its asses and returns some form of balance to Washington, we’re screwed.  The most we can hope for is that this economic crisis keeps them preoccupied for that amount of time, and Americans can see just how wrong it was to give the Dems control of the whole thing.

You know, I hate to use this analogy, but they are trying to make us completely dependent on the government, enslaved if you will.  They don’t want us to think for ourselves anymore.  That’s the only way that Washington retains its power, and that’s the only way they can continue to line their own pockets (ALL politicians).

We’ve already had seven years of our President beholden to Congress (Bush had to buy A LOT of votes to keep funding for the war once it was no longer popular).  Let’s hope each of us walks into that voting booth and thinks about the consequences of Obama + Pelosi + Reid and make sure each of us votes for REAL change, McCain in the White House and as many Republicans as we can in Congress.

Update: More on the 401(k) debacle.  The divestiture associated with socializing the retirement market would collapse the stock market.
