I’m surprised at the terrible abilities of the “vast right wing conspiracy” this year.  How did we not push for the Khalidi tape in April?  Even if the Republicans wanted to wait to bring it out thinking that with it, Obama would be easier to beat, we should have pushed this stuff right after the conventions. 

And now, this interview about coal from JANUARY is finally “discovered” with Obama saying that his regulations would effectively bankrupt coal plant companies.  Can you imagine the numbers in Pennsylvania if we would have pulled this tape out right after the Biden rope line gaffe?

I know the media is in the tank for Obama, but damn, we should have better investigators than this.  A day late and a dollar short.

Update: Looks like the Ohio Coal Association isn’t too keen on Obama’s statement.
