RIP Madelyn Dunham
Obama’s grandmother passed away early this morning. Rest in peace, Ms. Dunham. Condolences to her family.

That’s what Obama’s campaign “earned” this year. Under his plan, he’d have to give an extra $21.6 M to the government, who could “share” it with McCain’s campaign.
It’s just chump change, right?

Andrew Breitbart has an article thanking George W. Bush on this eve of the election that truly marks the end of his presidency. I second the sentiments in his article. I do really like President Bush. I think he’s a humble man who has been on an almost eight-year mission of protecting the people who elected him (and the ones who didn’t) from more attacks on American soil.
While he has increased the federal budget a whole lot more than any Republican should, it’s all has to do with the war. Wait, let me explain that. Yes, I know that if you take out the war spending, he has still had one of the biggest budgets in history. Why is that related to the war? Because he believed so passionately in keeping America safe, he had to pretty much allow all kinds of spending to happen in order to continue funding the war. Especially when it was unpopular.
He had Republicans and Democrats alike putting in their own personal spending priorities in return for continued funding for the war. And he had to sign off on the bill or else face a terrible defeat that would have been detrimental to this country.
He showed his conservative side when he could. Look at the expanded SCHIP bill. When held out on its own, Bush vetoed it because it covered children (and young adults) who came from familes very much capable of providing health coverage.
However, most of these kinds of bills ended up attached to military spending bills that Bush could not veto. So, the budget ballooned. I didn’t like it, and neither did many conservatives. But I firmly believe that Bush will be proven right when, in 25 years, we have a thriving democracy in Iraq that is friendly to our country. That was only possible to complete by bribing the politically spinless wimps from both sides in D.C.
The polls open around the country in roughly 24 hours. If you haven’t voted, will you? Lines will be long, but it is IMPORTANT. Do you know who you are voting for? Are you just voting against someone? Either way, do it.
You know who I voted for. And I did vote FOR him. I believe John McCain and Sarah Palin are right for this country now. I firmly believe they will do everything in their power to cut wasteful government spending. That is my biggest concern. If the government is smaller, we all do better.
My second biggest concern is our national security. McCain is KNOWN. Our enemies know he’ll respond if attacked. Obama has pretty much allowed for a free shot or two, and Biden assured us it would happen. Obama also has no real plan for energy independence, which goes directly to our security. He recently said his policies would bankrupt coal companies and allow energy prices to skyrocket.
Another huge concern of mine is payback. Obama has $600 M worth of favors he will owe to his donors. And McCain? He owes $84 M worth of favors to his donors, too. The difference? Obama owes big unions, lawyers, Soros, and other big contributors. McCain? He owes US. WE financed his campaign, just as he promised to let us do.
Not enough? Here’s the link to the comprehensive case against Obama. Read it. Watch the videos. Look at my more recent posts for information on Khalidi, coal, and other items that have cropped up since the original case was made.
You’ll know who to vote for after all of that.
Joe Wurzelbacher just confirmed on Fox and Friends a few minutes ago that he is going to SUE the officials who illegally looked into his background! He said that an example needs to be made or else this will continue to happen.
Other things he said:
What a guy! You go, Joe!
Last night on a special “Hannity and Colmes,” they were discussing Obama’s aunt. Dick Morris was the guest, and Colmes stated that if they were discussing Obama’s treatment of his aunt, then they should discuss how McCain treated his first wife.
Let’s do that, shall we? About 35 years ago, McCain came back from Vietnam broken both mentally and physically. He fought back on both fronts, and he won. However, he cheated on his wife during the process. He’s not proud of it, and he made sure that everyone knew that it was HIS fault, and it was not to be blamed on Vietnam or anything but himself. When they divorced, he agreed to pay his wife’s medical bills for the rest of her life (she was severely injured in a car accident while he was a POW).
His ex-wife supports him to this day. His children with his first wife support him. The family is together in this quest, which says a lot about the man. When his wife Cindy was addicted to painkillers, he admitted that he could have done more to help her. They fought through it, and she successfully overcame the addiction. They have been married close to thirty years.
I mean, c’mon, his wife brought home a BABY who was in severe need of medical attention to adopt, and he lovingly accepted her without question. That is not an easy thing to do.
Obama says he didn’t know his aunt, whom he wrote about so lovingly in his book, was living in America. When she became a liability because of her legal status, he threw her under the bus and said all laws should be followed. He’s a LAWYER, and he could certainly find a friend to help fight for her case. Instead, she’s suddenly disappered from her public housing unit, and he says she needs to get outta Dodge. So much for “my brother’s keeper.”
