Secureourdream.com is up (Updated)

Joe the Plumber’s website is up.  It seemed to me that he billed it yesterday on FNC as some sort of charitable organization, but right now, it looks like the only thing there is a way to pre-order his book and join the site (free or paid membership).

The site COULD be promising, and I hope it turns out that way.  I don’t begrudge Joe for trying to make a living now that a simple question asked of a politician has caused him to lose his job.  However, he’s billed himself as an everyman, and he promises to help other regular “Janes and Joes” get their messages out to help end corruption in D.C.  I hope he makes a lot out of that opportunity and stays an everyman.

Update: I saw Joe on “Hannity and Colmes” I think yesterday, and he said the website is supposed to help track the politicians and bring accountability to D.C.  If that’s the case, I apologize for misunderstanding the charity thing.  More power to you, Joe.  This is the kind of activism we need.  That’s why many of us bloggers blog.  Best of luck.
