We all know he was defeated during the election.  Now, one of his most famous pieces of legislation, which might have helped cause his defeat, will hopefully go down in flames.  The RNC is suing to overturn McCain-Feingold.  While a noble cause, we all know that laws with the best of intentions have had many unintended consequences in the past (look at the current Nebraska child abandonment law).  The only way to reduce the influence of money is to have full disclosure to let everyone know where the money is coming from.  Every single penny to every single candidate / campaign / political group.
