CBS thinks viewers confuse ads, programming

CBS has a high opinion of their viewership.  They refused to run a political ad, carried by all other major broadcast and cable news networks, because they were afraid viewers would confuse Pelosi’s appearance in the ad with her upcoming appearance on “Face the Nation.” 

I wonder if they refuse to run, say, hair coloring ads featuring Eva Longoria Parker, one of the stars of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” because viewers might get confused and accidentally watch CBS looking for the show.
