Gov. Pawlenty in MN knows where the GOP should go in its rebuilding efforts — to the right.  At least, fiscally.  So, he’s tightening belts in his state instead of raising already high tax rates.  He and Gov. Sanford of SC have both been at the forefront of opposing bailouts and putting more pressure on an already suffering electorate.  Gov. Palin has merely declined a pay raise (unlike Congress).  She needs to get on the ball if she wants to keep up with these two.
