So the guy that Obama has tapped to be in charge of the Treasury, Timothy Geithner, failed to pay his own payroll taxes as well as taxes on an undocumented worker he employed.  Harry Reid dismissed the charges as a “few hiccups.”  Most Republicans are afraid to stand up to Obama on the big issues, so why would they jeapordize the lips / butt relationship on such a small hiccup?  In the long run, it won’t matter a damn bit.

The irony? One of the missions of the department he will head is to collect “taxes, duties and monies paid to and due to the U.S.” and to pay “all bills of the U.S.”  This is like tapping the biggest polluter to be the face of the environmental movement.  Oh wait, he is.
