Gov. Perry (R-TX) rejected $555M in stimulus money meant for the expanded unemployment coverage that requires the states to fund the new program (for part-timers mostly) permanently after the two year government-funded period.  Texas Workforce Commissioners warned him that the fund would be empty in October.  Perry accepted the rest of the $17B slated for Texas.
