TOTUS (Rush’s nickname for Teleprompter of the United States) apparently gets cranky when it can’t watch American Idol.    I just hope it doesn’t get angry enough to reveal any national security secrets.

Update: TOTUS now has its own official seal.

Burger King apparently has an Angry Whopper that they are trying to advertise.  So, they’ve allowed visitors to make Angry-Grams to send off to someone that is annoying.  The messages are created like a rigid Mad Lib — fill in the blanks, but only certain phrases are allowed. 

Even with the lack of choices, I made one for Obama.  (It was funny that “Osama” was available but “Obama” wasn’t.  I settled on “Barry.”)

Flashback to Clinton?

Heh, no.  This morning on “Fox and Friends,” Rick Klein from ABC was being interviewed by Dave Briggs.  They were discussing Rahm Emanuel’s conversations with Gov. Blagojevich’s office.  One of them said, I think it was Rick but I’m not sure, that it was clear that Emanuel had some contact with the office, but then he said, “I’m not saying it was inappropriate contact.” 

You’d think they were talking about Monica again.

Haha, this was pretty funny, so I thought I’d link it.  Just a case of a bunch of “journalists” going after the low-hanging fruit in the post-election low.

I didn’t know this went on after the 2004 election, but apparently there was a big “I’m Sorry” website from Americans to the rest of the world individually apologizing for re-electing Bush.  It even became a stupid book.  Now, there is a similar picture movement to get everyone to work together. 

It’s the “From 52 to 48 with love” movement that refers to the popular vote percentage.  Lots of people putting up stupid signs in faux humility asking for “the 48″ to work with them.  Well, here’s a small collection of the pictures some of those same people were putting up four years ago.  Now that they have their way, they all just want to get along for America. Pffft. Look here for a suggestion of a better way to start.

That’s what Obama’s campaign “earned” this year. Under his plan, he’d have to give an extra $21.6 M to the government, who could “share” it with McCain’s campaign.

It’s just chump change, right?

I saw this cartoon on flyers when I went to work the phone banks at the teeny-tiny Republican phone bank in Austin.  It’s cute, and it could be used to explain to children why Obama would be bad.

You have probably seen him on You Tube.  He was a finalist in Newt’s “Drill Here Drill Now Pay Less” video contest.  Now, he has a blog.  He’s trying to connect African-Americans with what the Conservative movement and Republicans are really about, and he does a pretty good job.  You go, Zo!
