Don’t freak out, and don’t celebrate. Democrats are always oversampled, because they are more willing to share their votes. A poll before the vote said so.
DO NOT LET THE RESULTS STOP YOU FROM VOTING. There is more at stake wherever you are than the presidency.
Anyway, they’ve opened up a support thread over at Hot Air, so feel free to share your thoughts or read the comments to calm down.
Update: More exit poll data at Ace.

More on why the polls are wrong. (H/T: Hot Air headlines)
VOTE! Don’t let the MSM stop the Republicans from turning out!!
Update: Here’s a previous post with links to more reasons why most polling stinks.

I, like many, are worried. I have hope, but I’m truly fearful of an Obama presidency and what it will do for the country in which my daughter will learn about the world.
The polls released everyday show an almost insurmountable lead. Websites with electoral map predictions brought smiles to my face during the convention, but now only prove so depressing I don’t visit them anymore. Even Mr. Rove’s site.
However, this morning I read a couple of great articles on why the polls are misleading. Now, I’ve taken statistics and I understand how numbers can be manipulated, but I thought many of the numbers were based on facts, such as the number of Democrats that have registered to vote (which is why the polls are skewed to have a bigger sample of Democrats). However, these two articles have a better, more in depth analysis of the numbers behind the polls, and I’m feeling a little more optomistic after reading them.
P.S. Read the main Hillbuzz page. There are many posts on the polls that are meant to help life the spirits of “Eeyores.”
