Obama lawyers threaten Palestra journalists

Some of the only journalists left in this country are at Palestra.net.  They are a group of student reporters who did a fantastic job of uncovering voter fraud in Ohio.

According to Gretawire, one of the reporters received an intimidating letter from Obama’s lawyers.  Someone from a blog sent a letter to the website wondering if that same reporter was actually from Ohio since she voted by absentee ballot there.  Her bio at Palestra states she’s from Cincinnati (she went to school in Chicago).

The lawyer apologized and said he didn’t mean it as an intimidation, but c’mon.  Read it.  Imagine if the student reporter didn’t have the access to Greta Van Susteren that she does.  Imagine the number of bloggers out there who have published something and received a similar letter who did not have the backing of a major network.  How many of those posts got pulled?

This is what we can expect from an Obama presidency.

Palestra’s persistence

If you haven’t heard of Palestra.net, you should check it out.  It is a group of student journalists that have been ALL OVER the Ohio voter fraud story.  And they have done a FANTASTIC job.  The do a lot of work for FNC, and I think FNC at least partially funds them.

I first saw the hints of their big story on “On the Record” on FNC.  Greta interviewed the Sec. of State of Ohio Jennifer Brunner and asked about some questions about Palestra.net reporters.  Brunner’s office accused Palestra.net reporters of “demand[ing]” interviews with her on camera, and they sent a letter questioning Greta’s motives in her interview with Brunner.  The letter accused Greta of playing gotcha with Brunner, except the topic barely took any time in the interview.  Brunner said she did not know of the complaints, and Great moved on.  The Palestra.net reporters insisted that the letter that Greta recieved was factually incorrect, and they had notes to prove it.  Brunner’s office never offered a representatives for the reporters to interview.

Next, we hear about the house in Ohio where twelve ”Vote from Home” students called “home.”  Palestra.net was on that one, too.  They are still tracking down students who rented this house for the specific purpose of voting in Ohio.  Some have even returned to England where they are attending school.  Greta also has an interview with the Palestra.net reporter here.

Then, news comes out that there are people who are hosting Obama campaign workers in Ohio.  And guess what?  Those campaign workers are using the temporary addresses to register to vote.  Read the story of Jacob Smith and the run around the Palestra.net reporter got from the OBAMA campaign when she asked more questions about him.  And here’s a video about Lori Brown.  The reporters have been comparing lists of workers in Ohio for BOTH campaigns with lists of registered voters with some interesting results.

Palestra.net has some outstanding people working for it.  You should read Shelby Holliday’s blog as well as Tiffany Wilson’s blog.  If only the MSM was this persistent!

Scrutinizing Obama, errr, I mean Joe (Updated)

Joe Wurzelbacher — this poor man.  His only crime is questioning Obamessiah and continuing to talk about it.  He probably regrets the day he met Obama, just like many others do.  He didn’t ask to be brought into this election campaign.  He asked a LEGITIMATE question, and now HIS life is being scrutinized.

They MSM has already started digging up dirt.  They are now using him to make an example of why the awful, terrible behavior of the Ohio Secretary of State is legitimate.   Some reporter is questioning his party affiliation “trying to kookify him” as Allah so eloquently states.  I guess they’ve redeployed all of their troops from Wasilla, AK and put them in Holland, OH.

They’re doing Obama’s campaign’s job instead of their own.  Where is the MSM report on Obama’s New Party affiliation?

Update: Looks like the Democratic Underground has opened up a thread for any and everyone to publish garbage against Joe.  I won’t link them, but you can find them easily, I’m sure.  The gist is they are calling him a Republican plant with ties to Wasilla, Arizona, and Charles Keating.  Oh yeah, in the post-Palin age, Republicans are JUST THAT DUMB to put someone out there who meets this magical trifecta to ask Obama a question during an unannounced door-to-door campaign session.

Oh, wait, I know.  Joe is a disenchanted Republican that contacted the Obama campaign.  He told them where he lived, so Obama decided to walk that neighborhood and set something up so that McCain would pounce all over this new “poster boy” of Obammunism.  Then, he’d unleash his network to dig up all the things Joe already told him about so he could be discredited and make McCain look bad.  Yeah, that’s the ticket!

/sarc off

Update II: Looks like Joe is going to be out of a job, at least temporarily.  He doesn’t have a license.  While he says he thought he didn’t need a license because his boss has one, he should have been better informed (I wonder if the Dems will say the same about the people who signed for houses they couldn’t afford).

However, this is what happens to you if you quesiton The One.  Great exit question at the link above.  Poor, poor Joe.  From the link on the Hot Air page, it looks as if the union is after Joe as well.  “The real Joe Plumbers are for Barack,” they say.

Update III: Ace links the scrutiny of Joe to a source backing out of the juicy Obama-Ayers story Politico has been sitting on.

Now it’s VOTER fraud!

These ACORN people keep getting on television and arguing about how they are looking into voter REGISTRATION fraud, not voter fraud.  One spokesman reiterates that ACORN has NEVER been accused of VOTER fraud EVER.  Well, the voters they register might not intend to vote more than once, but these people sure seemed like they wanted to.  Michelle has a GREAT article, and you should read it all.

These people intended to commit VOTER fraud.  However, voter REGISTRATION fraud can be just as bad.  Yeah, maybe Mickey Mouse will be turned away at the door, but with the network of fake IDs out there for illegals, someone could register a legitimate name at a legitimate address and go vote many times.  That’s not to mention the students in Ohio who have been ENCOURAGED to vote in both Ohio and their home states.

Fighting the Fraud

Last night, militant Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner (I don’t think I’m being too harsh there) was told by a judge to perform the verifications required by law of people who have registered to vote, especially the ones who registered and voted in the same day during last week’s overlap period.

If you read the story, you see Brunner claims that she HAS been checking the records as required.  However, she claims the federal law doesn’t specify what to do if a match is not found in the databases to the person who registered.  Duh — you PURGE that person!  Laughable.

I guess we shouldn’t expect much from the woman who interpreted the law to believe that the intent of two laws coming together was to allow people to register and vote in the same day.  Why the hell register then?  What a partisan!  She’s WAY worse than Harris was in FL in 2000.
